Yantai Metastar Special Paper Co., Ltd. is a Chinese public-trading enterprise that produces and sells the aramid paper and derivatives. On September 9th, 2015, the company rang bell on the Chinese National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) platform with initial capital valued at RMB 100 million. Prior to spin-off, Metastar was the specialized arm of Yantai Tayho Advanced Materials Group (the former Yantai Spandex Group). Noteworthy, Tayho group is the second largest producer of aramid fibers and derivatives in the world.
